The unmarried retired teacher was a kind of matriarch to many of her pupils including Emy Salcedo and Romulo Banggawan, members of the Lord's church in Kalinga, Cordillera Administrative Region ( CAR ).

Inang Maring as she was fondly called was born in 1923 and was a great influence to her pupils, some of whom, are members of the church in Kalinga.

To God be the glory for having a real Christian teacher in words and deeds who had great influence among her pupils who have become leaders in the church and in the community.
