The Bishop couple now works with the local church of Christ at Banga, Aklan in Panay Island.
Jack Ambito and company recently visited this congregation as he hails from Aklan province where the world-famous Boracay white beach is found.
Banga church, though unknown to many NT Christians, is one of the oldest congregations in Panay Island, Western Visayas, where people speak the native " Karay-a " dialect related to the Hiligaynon of Bacolod, Iloilo, and Capiz provinces.
The late Bartolome G. Dayao, Jr. and world radio evangelist Daniel A. Oliva visited Banga, Aklan in 1963 and baptized a WBS convert Evangeline Teodosio.
God be praised that the Bishops are now working there to evangelize the " Aklanons."
