Last Sunday, April 12, 2023, Kenneth Wilson, a fourteen-year-old eighth-grader and member of the preaching staff at Golden Gate Church of Christ, suggested that they preach the gospel at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Despite his age, Kenneth's vast knowledge of the Scriptures and his passion for spreading the Word of God inspired the other preachers to take up his challenge.
On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Kenneth was joined by the church minister, James Quitoriano, evangelist Terry Denis, and Kristine Lee, the Chinese community speaker, as they headed to the park to preach the gospel. Though nervous and excited, they had faith that their message would reach those who needed it most.
Thanks to Kenneth's initiative and the support of the church leaders, this gospel presentation initiated what will become a regular Sunday event. Plans are underway to invite church members to join the group as they invite listeners, distribute flyers, and sing hymns to the public.
Kenneth's passion for sharing the good news extends beyond his church. He also shares his messages on My Angel Radio, a broadcast program of the church every Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In school, Kenneth never ceases to share the good news with his classmates, even warning them about the dangers of accepting teachings about homosexuality and transgender ideas. Though he has attracted the attention of school authorities who have forbidden preaching against such ideas, Kenneth remains steadfast in his faith, believing in the words of Jesus Christ.
With his zeal and enthusiasm, Kenneth Wilson is an inspiration to all those seeking to share the gospel with the world.
