Metro- Manila church appoints 3 bishops!

Metro- Manila church of Christ that meets at 31 Samar Avenue, South Triangle in Quezon City recently appointed three elders, also known as bishops, overseers or presbyters.

For a long time, the Metro-Manila church was managed through the Board of Trustees.

The congregation in the 1970's housed the Philippine Bible College of Quezon City under the able supervision of the late Douglas Gunselmann.

Metro- Manila meets in one story building with a wide worship hall, one guest room and two residential quaters- sprawling on a lot valued in millions of pesos today.

Appointed as the new elders of the.congregation are as follows: Benny Puda, businessman from Bolinao, Pangasinan; Val Deoferio and Dario Silvestre, a former officer of Development Bank of the Philippines in Metro- Manila

These men will serve the MM congregation for a indefinite period of time with God's approval as recorded in I Timothy 3; Titus 1 and other references.

The prayers of the saints are solicited in behalf of these men who now serve the oldest congregation of Metro- Manila since the late 1960's.
