Zimbabwe congregations hold joint memorial service

An FB October 15, 2022 post of Chitandara church of Christ showed a joint memorial service with Chivake congregation for the late Mari Samukange who passed away recently.
Chitandara is located in Marondera District of Mashonaland, an East Province of Zimbabwe.
The memorial service speaker used Deuteronomy 5:7-8 as his text in telling his audience that God is Spirit and not idols made by men.
The message is powerful as people of Africa, including Zimbabwe, are known as idol worshippers.
The joint memorial service of two congregations in Zimbabwe is an indication of spiritual maturity, a far cry from their pre- Christian lives.
God be praised that the " gospel of Christ" is continuing to win more Gentiles into the Lord's fold.
