Clark church of Christ located at 66 23rd Street, Josefa Subdivision, Malabanias, Angeles City in Pampanga celebrated her 54th anniversary.
The local church is named after Clark Air Base of the USA Armed Forces located in Balibago, Angeles City in Pampanga.
From 1968 up to the late 1980's, about 70% of the congregation were American servicemen and women ( their respective families included). The reason, about 1 hectare of property was purchased to put up a two- story church building and a preacher's house.
From 1972 to 1976, an extension of Philippine Bible College in Baguio City was set up at Clark church building and classrooms to cater to the needs and interests of Pilipino and Pampango students. Eusebio Tanicala and Danny A.Oliva, PBC instructors, served as Directors during those years.
Clark had a full time preacher ( Don Huddleston) and several elders and deacons ( Danny Oliva was one of the deacons).
When the Americans left the Philippines at the end of the Laurel- Langley Agreement, Clark church left the ownership of the lot and building to the local membership.
The Restoration Press formerly located at PBC in Baguio City was transferred to Clark church's facilities under the supervision of the late Ray Bryan.
On her 54th year, Clark church, now comprising mostly Filipino members, is still actively carrying on the mandate of Jesus Christ recorded in Matthew 28:19-20.
